Dark Room, October 9 2009, A new show in Chicago
I will be back in Chicago at the trendy Dark Room Bar which has the tradition of showing great and edgy photography. I am honored by the invitation. I am preparing something very new for the ocasion, I will certainly push the envelope!

Openning a studio in Colombia!
Colombia is a beautiful place constantly telling me stories. I decided to bring those stories to the studio, potentialize the drama by controling the light and share them with you. The challenge? Achieving in the studio the same honest look that I find on the street.

What Weinstein said
Mr. Weinsteind writes about art in NewCity Chicago magazine. About Focus Group show he said: "All the photographers here focus their energy with determination, showing that hardcore modernism lives and postmodern play is an afterthought to be stood on its head".

Still Printing
While I enjoy working with a digital camera, I find that the demands of film photography, with its limited resources and hours of work in the darkroom, bring an extra level of consciousness to the simple act of taking a photograph that I still enjoy very much.

A Black Frame
Traditional photography thought me that when you don't crop a picture you are allowed to put a black frame around it. I have pushed myself to exhibit only uncroped pictures on my shows since i learnt that concept. I certainly enjoy challenging myrself.
